Spring into Action is a community interest company based in Accrington in East Lancashire. We set up in 2012 and have a vision of an inclusive society where people with learning disabilities can fully participate. We are committed to creating a world where every individual, regardless of their abilities, feels valued and empowered to fully participate in life. Our focus is on nurturing positive, healthy relationships, fostering equity, and developing essential life skills. We are dedicated to providing opportunities for individuals to access the community, build lasting friendships, and enjoy services that are friendly, fun, and enriching. We aim to ensure that people with learning disabilities have the same opportunities as the non-learning-disabled population. The objective of any work we do is to enable people to live their best lives by reducing isolation, facilitating wider social circles, increased confidence, skills and improved mental health and wellbeing. We are an inclusive organisation from top to bottom, and pride ourselves on going the extra mile for anyone that comes into contact with our services. Ultimately, we want to ensure that the people we support in our communities are valued members of society, with a visible presence in all aspects of society, including social settings, volunteering and work.
